My daughters huge fish-UPDATED WITH PICS!

My daughter (9yo) was fishing today in my inlaws pond. She caught a 9 pound bass. The thing was 29" long and 5" wide across the back. HUGE! She was using a cheapo Shakespere rod and reel with 8 pound l;ine and a cheapo H&H single blade yellow spinner. As soon as I get the pics I'll put them on here.<br /><br /><br />EDIT: Well here she is.<br />

Awesome! Nothing beats a Texas farm pond. When I lived in east Tx. I looked for ponds and even paid money to fish some. Monstrous bass that are unmolested by other fisherman, gotta love it. Only problem is now everything else she catches will be a let down.

Well done, what a monster .Do you live anywhere near a nuclear plant Just goes to show that you don't need to spend big bucks to have fun and catch fish.
