Happened on Thursday night wind gusts up to 80 mph. Unfortunately this was the pontoon that started life as my grandfather's and has been handed down. No matter what the insurance company does we are going to keep the boat if given a buy back option. The brand new upholstery was just done 2 weeks ago.

1992 the boat was ordered brand new

1993 the boat was slipped at a different dock when the worst snow storm in history came through here 18 inches of snow collapsed the dock on the boat.

2003 Sold the boat to new owner.

2008 Grandpa passed and the new owner wrecked the boat.

2010 We bought the boat back cleaned it covered it enjoyed it

2011 Sustained $2,000 hail damage

2012 Sometimes it just makes you wonder if the boat is cursed.

Sorry Sig. What a bummer - especially with a heritage behind it. Glad ya'll weren't hurt.

We get some crazy storm systems that pop up out of no where. They are some of the strongest cells I've seen, and I've been more surprised and scared on some of these big TVA lakes in storms than the Great Lakes.

I'm guessing that it is indeed cursed.

Did someone re-name the boat without following the prescribed procedure?

Quite the mess. Good luck.
