This weekend I began the task of getting my 17' Cobia with 88spl water-worthy. I had not used the boat or started the engine in three years. Well, it started quite easily, but I have two major problems. I will start separate threads here in the forums to discuss each of these issues, 1. my power tilt not working, 2. the engine running hot, with water coming out of places I don't remember.
I will take advantage of this post to ask where to get the best service manual for this engine, since I may have lost mine during construction and can't find it. I forgot what it looked like, but know it was very thorough.
