my 14 ft starcraft holiday(with a buncha pics)

hi i am new to these forums but have learned alot already like identifying the boat i just picked up this weekend i believe it is a 72 or 73 holiday, looking forward to sharing the pictures of my resto and or course getting help when needed from you all.

also here is a pic of my tow vehicle a 73 vw bus hence my search for a small lightweight runabout/fishing boat. plus the colors match!

pretty much full resto i definately need a new transom and although it is orange i just gotta repaint to match the bus should be able to start tearing in to her this week

Starcraft certainly did make the Holiday model with a 14' hull, that's what it looks like to me. Cool little boats too!

Some measurements and a peek at the brochures would confirm it if you want. There's a link in my signature to the brochures.

im 97% sure its a holiday if you look in hurons 74 brocure there is an exact version of mine same color that is identified as a 14' holiday but now you guys got me questioning my detective skills lol, as per the year the serial number on the stern ends with a 72 bigger than the rest of the numbers but my engine which i assume is original is a 73 model.

aww man i just read thru the tinstock thread now i may have to hurry and replace the transom and get my outboard running just so i can go cause i love me a good roadtrip plus my tow vehicle is my camper woohoo

im hoping to make it as i have a scheduled three day weekend from work that weekend so it will be a race to see if i can get her ready between now and then lol plus it is not a bad drive from louisville
