my 115efi mercury idles high. Can I adjust it lower,and how?

Absolutely! Simply screw the idle adjustment screw counter-clockwise until you get the idle adjusted to manufacturer's specifications. I could help you, but I have no year model, model number or enough information to determine what carburetor you have. Once you figure that out, I'm sure you can find a youtube video that will show you exactly how to adjust your idle.

Really depends what age she is. If it’s a fairly modern efi…it’s not usually something that’s manually adjusted. It’s controlled by the ecu, fed by and determined by the input from many ancillary sensors. An IAC failure would be the most common cause of such a thing, on an efi.
