I recently had my remote rewired with new internal, battery and ignition switch, added power T&T and installed a fixed fuel tank and fuel/water seperator. I got everything put back together but no matter how i adjusted the shift barrel I could not engage reverse. So...I did some research and discovered that I should have removed the reverse lock assembly when I install power T&T. I was happy to discover such a simple solution to what I thought was a major problem. She is now ****fting great and after messing with idle speed and mixture I got her idling pretty good. I also changed the plugs today. Here is quick video and some pics.
