Question for you guys with multiple switches and ACRS.

Do you switch to OFF before using your dual or multiple bank chargers?

Edit: My battery chargers are wired directly wired to the individual batteries themself

No. Think about it.
If you turn off the battery switches then the charger won't be able to charge the batteries because the connection is not complete.
The ONLY thing that should be directly wired to a battery are bilge pumps, and each should have their own fuse protection.

I turn my switches off whenever I turn off my boat but not because of the charger. Just be aware that unless your ACRs have a switch to turn them off, they will connect when the charger is charging. Nothing necessarily wrong with that. The ACRs have a drop out mode if one battery fails.
