Re: MS Word Question

It is on the tool bar right after the question mark, sometimes it is hidden behind an arrow. Click on the arrow. You will see two columns with lines, when you click on it that will allow you to select up to four columns. Click on the fourth box.

Re: MS Word Question

You can set up two columns in Format and just leave space under where you stop typing. Them you can cut and paste into the nest column.

I would not use Columns. I would set-up a four cell table. You can have the table set with invisible lines. This is very easy. My experience with Columns is that they are more difficult to work with than a Table. Good luck!!

Gottcha Quietcat. That's what I was loooking for but I did not understand the 'table' option. I just checked it out and you can quickly tell it just what you want. Knew it had to be there somewhere.
Thanks
B'yal

ps, I did end up doing what I needed to with columns. What a pain in the behind when it came to vertical spacing of the text groups.

Re: MS Word Question

Glad I could help. My experience with Columns is a lot like yours. Have to work way too hard. I'd rather have a table with 4 columns and only 1 row for example, much easier to edit.
