Ive just changed boats and planned on taking the elect trolling motor to the new boat. Now the delimina i find my self in is the motor was set up as a bow mount and this new boat i need to run it from the stern (its a I/O) that is on the swimming platform.

I cannot find a mount that will let the motor swivel 45 degree's or is it there even such a mount made?

Re: Mounting plate issue

Sorry got so confused @ not finding a swivel type of mount, i posted a bit off. This is a electric fishing motor and its detachable that is you mount a permanent base and simply slide off the motor and assy at one leisure.

Now the problem is, it was setup for the bow, where you can simply put the base towards the edge directly at the water and drop the motor. Lift it back up and it lay's parraelle on the bow.

I am now going to mount the motor in the transom area on a i/o (on the swim platform) Now there is the issue, in order to get motor parraelle (for running from spot to spot up out of the water) the mounting bracket has to be setup that way also,and what i need is a mounting bracket that will swing 45 degree's out so i can get the motor to swing out and drop in the water..................Hmmm clear as mud huh? :}

Sort of like a tv stand that lets you turn the tv in angle you wish to choose from
