Motorguide only has 3 out of 5 speeds working

First time out his year my motorguide brute 67 foot control trolling motor would not run on 1 or 2, 3 works, 4 seems the same as 3 and 5 works, worked fine last time out last year, do you think its the speed control switch (MHF 15501T), how do I test it?

The switch is probably not the problem. The speed control unit itself probably is. The switch is just a switch. It selects which circuuit in the speed control unit that controls the motor.

I finally got this fixed, had to replace the comm cap assembly. Nice to have all the speeds again.
