I HAVE A JOHNSON 100HP. HYDRO ELECTRIC DRIVE HOW CAN I TELL IF THE WATER PUMP IS WORKING OR NOT.IT HAS TWO HOLES ABOUT HALF WAY EXHAUST COMES OUT BUT NO WATER.SHOULD IT SPIT WATER OUT THE TWO HOLES. <br /><br />------------------<br />Wes Williams

this is from long term memory so info may be foggy. I think you should have a mist at low speed and running fast the pump should over pressure the poppet valve and dump more water<br />out of the idle relief holes. the thing you may want to do is take off the hood and pore a table spoon of water on the heads. If it boils your to hot. Low tech but it tells the story.<br />...have fun...corm
