i have a 89 model suzuki dt 85.it is hard to start but will with a shot of ether, once warm will start with the touch of the key and idle fairly well.when put in gear it will stall most of the time.if i can get it in gear and ease it up to 2k rpm i can then throttle up to max but the rpms only go to 3800.the motor acts as if starved for fuel.i have cleaned the tank, new lines, new kit in the fuel pump, still same problem.i have tried squeezing the primer bulb while cruising with no added difference.i have sprayed carb cleaner around the fuel lines to see if rpms come up,no luck.i removed the fuel line from the top carb and hit the primer, good flow of fuel.now the really confusing part.at WOT and 3800 rpm it will run for 5-10 min.then start stalling and i will have to throttle back, let it idle then throttle back up.i repeated this several times.i just bought this boat so i dont know how it was put up last winter.could i have a coil breaking down when it gets hot?any advice would be greatly appreciated.
