motor serial number

I have a mercruiser 4.3 liter in my marada boat, it is supposed to be a 1995 motor, i know it may of have been made earlier. Does anyone know anywhere on the web that i may type in my serial nuber to find out what year the motor was manafactured? <br /><br /> thanks in advance for your answer
