Motor Recommendations?

I have an older 19ft. MFG, deep V hull with a bad 150hp Merc.. I can't afford a new motor. Would a 90 hp do O.K. for a casual fishing boat? Any make in particular?

I think a 90 might be a little weak for that boat, Baybum.<br /><br />I would first thoroughly investigate the cost to make the Merc healthy.<br /><br />If that is out of the question I would shop for a 80s JohnnyRude 60* 150 looper.
