Motor not pulling any gas!

I have a 15 h.p. craftsman gamefisher boat motor. The engine is made by te***seh. It runs good except it has a problem that I can't seem to fix. It won't pull(or suck) any gas out of the tank. I have to keep pumping the gas bubble to keep gas in the carburetor bowel or it will die. Anyone have any ideas on what to do?

If that uses a diaphram style carb, the fuel pump is in the carb and might need overhaul. Otherwise it sounds like a routine "fuel pump pumpeth not" problem. Sears can probably get you a fuel pump kit.<br /><br />Good luck.<br />JB
