Motor hours

I have noticed that many of the postings for outboards have hours listed. I am in the prosess of purchasing a 1990 Johnson 88 hp SPL and I am unaware of an hour meter on this motor; am I missing something?

Hi Tomask,<br />No your not missing anything. An hour meter is a add on on most motors. Here in Wi we can only use them around 4 months a yr. Ya got to cut the grass and paint some of those weekends so they don't get alot of time on them.
