Forgot to menton....Before you go messing with the stator, make sure the Kill Switch is not shorted. This will kill the ignition system. The Kill Switch Lanyard needs to be connected, or the "RUN"/"STOP" switch needs to be set to the "RUN" position for the ignition system to work.

Do a compression test to see if the general health is good.
Then if one coil is suspect? Try swapping it with one of the other coils.
