motor guide trouble only works on 1 speed

hello all! need some help again this time with 07 motor guide model 46 tm. for some reason it quit working on all speeds except speed 1? it should work on all 5 speeds. It's just a standard foot control model came with tracker boat. any ideas what could be wrong???

Unplug you pedal from your battery supply then...You may want to open up the pedal and see if any of the wires have come loose around your rotary speed select switch. They are spade type connectors and are prone to coming loose.Does high by-pass work??

Thanks musky, I'll try that, not sure can't remember but i don't think bypass worked.
