Can someone please either tell me how to perform a decarbonization operation on a 2-stroke outboard (mine is a '92 Merc 50 HP), or refer me to a publication describing the operation? Thanks!
You can hit the local Mercury dealer and pick up a can of Power Tune (directions on can) or go to a Yamaha shop for a bottle or two of Ring Free. The Yammy stuff is just added to the fuel, and is the easiest way to go.
