2001 50hp and 2 stroke. Motor cranks but won’t turnover.
Here’s the back story in short, lost keys decided to replace ignition began the process, storm rolled in while things were exposed. Ran my battery dead, thinking maybe a short somewhere. Was close to end of the season so let it sit covered over the winter. So here we are this year have good fresh fuel, spark, and new ignition as well as a good battery.
I hear the click for the choke, with all attempts it cranks but won’t start running. I’ve cleaned the carbs, checked fuse, spark wiring. Checked the kill switch it’s switched to the run mode. But still nothing. Any chance the voltage reg could be an issue for starting it up? Thanks again.
