Well, my 15 hp long-shaft Honda foot blew over the weekend. What an awful noise the foot made!! <br /><br />Need some advice.<br />I have a 15 hp Evinrude short shart, can I use a Aux Motor Bracket on the back of my J14 C. Skiff to use this short shaft motor on this hull? It HAS to be lower than the transon will allow, so my only option, besides cutting the transom, is use of a jack plate, or get a new motor. <br /><br />Will the aux bracket hurt the transom any? Will it be a usable way to go by means of the motor being out further behind the boat? <br /><br />please help guys!!!<br /><br />thanks a ton,<br /><br />Scoffer
