motor bogging down

1995 evinrude 9.9 Trolls perfect but when I rev it up it takes off and then dies down to slow speed. Any ideas.

Fuel pump?
Also does it die or just slow down?

Is it running on both cylinders ?? Pull one spark plug lead at a time and see if it is.

That sounds like a good idea, I've had that happen in the past. Will try that next time out.Fuel pump or sticky float next.
