Mosquitos on Chesapeake Bay?

We're going to boat around the Northern Chesapeake for a week, starting this Sunday 7/28 - cruising down from Philadelphia, thru the C&D canal.

In terms of anchoring in the Bay, how are the Mosquitos out there? Also, any general tips on achorages or things to do would be appreciated.
