'76 Mercruiser 888, 1-R drive w/ Ford 302<br /><br />This started out as a non-working trim cylinder. Have run since the drive will lower enough to use. Well, now it has started to leak down, but only about half way while on the trailer. The pump also seems to struggle as if it may have air in it. Furthermore, when I use the trim with the engine running, the engine looses power. At idle, the trim will kill the engine. I'm, planning on bleeding the systema nd hopefully replace all fluid. How can I test the pump?
