Rebuilding carb and have 3 issues with rebuild kit:

1. No welch plug..... I see that I can buy an alternate kit that has it, although I would rather just find the plug

2. I see a "boss gasket" in exploded view that is closest to mine. My high speed nozzle did not have anything of this nature. Am I looking in correct location for replacement?

3.New needle in float valve assembly has notch for spring due to rubber tip. Kit didn't have spring. I don't see spring in any of the kits. Doesn't spring keep needle from getting stuck??

Using kit 18-7010

Thank you in advance.

1. I don't know the answer to that one.

2. No boss gasket is needed in a 35hp. (Because it has an adjustable high speed needle that compensates for any boss leakage)

3. Kit should have had a clip. It is a necessary part, as you suggested.

Ended up with a second kit. I needed a float anyway and this kit seems more specific. Thank you for info on Boss gasket.
