More Horses in a 225HP 3.0L

I have a 225HP 3.0L 2003. I know the 250 use the same short block. I see in Ebay a controler for the computer claim 15% HP increase. This is true or I can do other thing that easy. Thanks for any advise.

The 225 and 250 in 2003 do not share the same block as the 250 is ported different. The 1994-96 are the same blocks,one outstand feature was no idle relief notch in sleeve. This is why you see little performance difference in them.(225-250) It was 2002 when Merc started porting differences. A 15% increase would make this motor beast if real world possible,more like a 15% increase in fuel usage with little hp gain.
