I see things have changed again. This is so frustrating I must say. Since the last change I've stopped receiving email notifications. And after some help from the great members, still hasn't changed. So I've lost contact with boat rebuilds and members. Now this change, there are places I can't go. Dockside Chat for one. I see I had birthday greetings but I can't go in to thank people. I can go in and read posts if I don't sign in. I don't know. This use to be a great forum to come into and be a member of. And my hair is getting too thin to pull anymore out. Anyway, that's my rant.

For a while I was getting the 'Log In" thing in the upper corner, but was able to post on the threads. I wonder if Rod Sterling is gonna pop up on the board soon "do not adjust your monitor, we are controlling it..."

I just rejoined or shall I say reactivated my account today and must say it is the most confusing forum I have ever been on. I was going to answer a persons question about ideas on covering his boat in the winter after watching his longgggggggggg and expensive way on video here and hit back and lost all..GRRRRRRRRRRR.
I also asked a question, joined the thread but have not received a notice through email telling me I had a response.
I'm glad it's not just me and will wait and see what happens. HAGD All.

I passed these on to our software developers. We hadn't intentionally changed anything so not sure what caused these new issues.

I know the company I used to work for would every so often make 'Improvements' for the software tools we used. Unfortunately they often would rush in and alter the code, with out paying attention as to what the repercussions were going to be. After several years of watching what was pretty close to the Larry, Moe, and Curly Show, or Abbot and Costello, I figured out why the IT people always carried very heavy Briefcases. It was to stretch their arms a few centimeters so as to be better able to pat themselves on the back

I really miss the old site! This new one is such a mess. The information is invaluable but if it can't be retrieved, utilized and easily manipulated it won't be used and people will move on to other sites. I really love iBoats but it's just not working out for me anymore.

I know for sure that Mr. Magoo has no issues now reading these threads.. Yikes! The font is massive.. I couldn't sign in either, had issues with that.. Hadn't had an email notification in months. Hanging on for dear life.

For the longest time I followed a thread chronicling the restoration of a Grady White by LX Kid and since the website "improvements" have lost email notifications. These improvements were not well thought out and will lead to members looking elsewhere for help. This used to be a good site.

I'm getting used to some of it. Interesting how the thread order is laid out now. I miss being able to see # of posts, and member since, of a member at a glance of a thread. It gives a quick idea of a poster's activity here, and possibly, their level of experience

I’m glad it’s not just me then. I’ve stopped getting email notifications since the last update. I miss that. Kept me In touch with the members progress. I randomly get an email but since this change, nothing.
