Montgomery Ward Sea King need year mfg

I was given a Sea King 6hp Model #VWB52106A, Serial #67x20773. A freind got it running for me but, I don't know what the year is. Also, where can I get parts. Thanks.

My books on the Sea King don't list anything newer that 1965, so it is newer than that. Sorry, I couldn't be more help.<br /><br />Adam

Your motor is a 1976 model. the 67X is the year reversed.<br /><br />TRP251

Thanks for the information on the Sea King. I saw other posts and noticed the first two digits of the serial number reversed converted to the year. That was my next question. Again, thanks.
