WOOOOOOW WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT!!!!!! This is a good fishing story at the docks for the locals.
This story is very close to home and we go by light house all the time as one of our favorite launch sites is close by.
A Lorain man who was fishing on Lake Erie Saturday said an Asian grass carp smacked into his 16-foot boat off the Lorain breakwall. But not to worry, this Asian carp is one of the good guys. It?s sterile and used by pond and lake owners to trim aquatic overgrowth. But the fish is still big and likes to jump out of the water. They were fishing for perch by the Lorain Lighthouse Saturday, about 70 yards off the breakwall. This fish record in at 72-pound, four feet, four and a quarter inch.
