They do pretty well, yet they'll never get much more than two feet in height-or so.<br /><br />Derwood,<br /><br />No, we're in bad shape here. Our biggest lake (Roosevelt) is at 15% of capacity. It doesn't look like it will ever be full again, and not for the lack of rain. Mountain snow has been OK.<br /><br />It seems that when they let the lake down to repair the dam, some birds (forgot the species name) moved into the drained areas. Now the eco. groups won't let the Water Authority refill the lake. <br /><br />My thoughts are:<br /><br />1. Birds can fly, how the $$%^ does one think they got there?<br /><br />2. They were somewhere else before-they'll go back-see # 1, they can fly!!
