modifying trailer

Hey guys, towards the front of my trailer on either side i have the type where a bar rises vertically to a v and has 2 rollers. My problem is they hit the strakes. I think I need just one roller on either side instead of the v. I have been to every store within a hundred miles and have found almost no selection of trailer parts for boats period. My local dealer pretty much wants to sell me a new trailer. I dont yet know how to post pics or I would. Any ideas as what I should do? These rollers Im trying to describe are the supports for side load in the front of a bunk board tilt trailer with keel rollers for a 19ft aluminum hull.

Re: modifying trailer

I'd find a fab shop, 4X4 shop, someone that can modify from scratch. Any good welding guy can look at what you want and come up with a solution, usually 100X stronger than something you buy.

My .02
