Model/Year ?

My friend here in Canada has this model # E20CRCIM (see picture). This says that this is a Rude / 20 HP / Rope Start / 1981, It seems that OMC did not made any 20hp in 1981. Im looking for parts,BRP, Ishopmarine and others do not list any 20hp in 1981.

Any ideas on that?

Made in Canada. They have some different motors / models than we have in U.S.

i believe its a derated 81 25 hp.

So i guess i should be looking for parts as if it was an 25 HP?

for the most part yes, but i would do some research on intake and exhaust parts. hopefully someone will chime in on how it was derated.

Probably, but I suppose there is a difference somewhere, I just don't know where. I'll bet a Canadian dealer can get you a correct parts list. It would be worth the effort.
