Model year of 70hp Merc.

I am looking for the model year of an outboard that i have just acquired. it is a <br />70hp Mercury/Kiekhaefer, s#:1484133.<br /><br />Also, before i crank this thing, I would like to know the best way to supply water for cooling. There are no side vents above the prop area. Where is the water intake? Would a large drum suffice? Appreciate the info.<br /> Thanks, Paul
