Need help finding model year of Honda BF15A, serial BAAL-1210821. Also what is the shaft length, the distance from the top of the transom mount bracket to the center of the propeller is 28", distance from top of transom mount bracket to the plate right above the propeller is 23". thanks.

I looked up the phone number for Honda marine tech help and they were able to tell me the model year of my 8HP, based on its serial number.
