Model 270 Volvo outdrive

My fishing partner and I have replaced all seals in the entire lower unit of this outdrive and it still gets water in the LU. Is there any tricks or insider knowledge that will help to stop the water?

RetNav, a vaccum test should reveal any bad seals or gaskets ( as reccomended by the manual). The air fitting screws into the filler hole.<br /><br />I've seen other posts suggesting a pressure test, but over pressurising can cause a leak, so please be careful.<br /><br />I discovered a minor leak in my lower leg using 3 P.S.I. (I used a hand operated bike pump). Good luck.<br /><br />Aldo
