Mixing old model parts

Can anyone confirm or deny some info about some old hulls? Namely a 1985 mariner 221v and a 1979 islander 221v. Will parts on these two boats interchange. I’ve looked intel the brochures, but all I can tell is that they both have a 96” beam. When I say parts I’m referring to the splash well. If it take some fab that’s fine, I’m just hoping that they’re close to the same size. Thanks everyone.

I hope that someone here has the splashwell dimensions for both of those boats but it seems unlikely. Do you have access to both? If so, you should be able to take a few measurements to confirm. Since the beams are the same and you are willing to do some fabrication I think you should be able to make it work. More details may help get you a solution. Do you own one and found the other for sale?

I own this 78 220v islander. Big hole in the back from the omc outdrive. I’m wanting to convert it to an outboard. It’s stripped, next will be the top. I want to turn her into a walleye boat.

I'm going to guess that you found the 85 mariner for sale but it's too far away to drive over and measure the splashwell. In that case, can you ask the seller to take some measurements for you?
