Mixing Dino with Synthetic

I have a partial tank -7 or 8 gals- gas/reg oil mix. I'm planning on trying synthetic (mostly for the reduced smoke benefit). Does anyone know of any harm in mixing gas/synthetic with the old?<br /><br />Thanks

After you mix it, try and use it fairly soon -- don't mix it and let it sit for two weeks. You should be fine.<br /><br />Dave

I have always been told to NEVER mix dino oil with synth oil.<br /><br />If it was me, I would run/drain the tank down as much as I could before mixing. JMO.
