Missing throttle and gear linkages - Mariner 40

i just bought a Mariner (Merc not Yammie) 40 twin cylinder ref: 40 MSL OT502892 2002 model 704G2S3LX<br /><br />It has previously been converted for our UK Lifeboat service by taking off the unused links for the remote gear and throttle cables and fitting in their place on the left side of the engine a small toolbox. Now I need to convert it from tiller control to a fully remote operation and I need the parts to do it - one of the parts is number 8539253 but i'm sure this does not cover the linkage rod with the little ball and socket joints - also this seems to only relate to the throttle cable - is there a similar part for the gear linkage?<br />Photos of left side of engine can be provided if needed to clarify.<br /><br />Thanks in advance
