Missing the nut that holds my steering wheel on

I had the cable replaced last fall and last week was the first time I had it on the water.It a 1990 16 foot Sea Nymph 161 fisherman side console,my buddy was driving it and the steering wheel came off the only thing was on the shaft was a washer no nut.I have no idea where I can get one I don't know if it is a left thread or right thread I think it is 3/4 shaft any and all help will be greatly appreciated. its a 5/8 or a 1/2 nut

Try Fastenal, they can identify it and will have the part more than likely.

With cars and boats this has always been my problem.... the nut that holds the steering wheel.
