Missing rear Zinc bolt Alpha 1...any issues?

Smashed zinc to get the bolt out on an an Alpha 1 Gen 1 (the rear bolt)

THe hex bolt from under the zinc is in

Will I have issues with water between the halves without the zinc and zinc bolt. Everything else is bolted tight

I guess what I'm asking is with the bolt in from underneath a half inch away, is the zink bolt really holding anything together?

I only ask because I forgot to get one and I'm boating this weekend, I will be getting one before going out again

Nope, shouldn't,...... except possibly abit of odd spray,.....

Perfect, Thanks for the reassurance. It seems like its just holding the zinc but wasn't sure

Ayuh,..... That's all it does,......

If yer zinc had a torque tab, the steerin' might pull,.....
