Hi,

I have a 1991 3hp, there appears to be 2 fuel nipples. Part 30 and part 31. Which one is the fuel inlet? I have the fuel line hooked up to the smaller nipple, part 30. But when I do I lose fuel through the missing part 31.

Why are there 2 nipples? Where should the fuel line go?

I feel like I'm my engine 30 is the fuel inlet and 31 isn't a nipple it's a drain plug. Could that be correct? Does anyone know the size and thread of the drain plug? I need to plug this asap.

Long story short I came back from a dinner to find my dinghy with the fuel line disconnected and this piece missing. Someone must have sabotaged it.

is this one of those internal/external tank engines . it can run on the engine's tank by gravity or an external tank via the fuel pump.
the knob allows switching between tanks. and if one of the other tanks is not used the unused nipple can be plugged

It's an internal tank. Does anyone know the size of bolt I need to plug this hole?

#32 is a fuel pumping bladder.----#31 hooks up to crankcase air PRESSURE pulses.-----I would have to find a carburetor to check the threads.

Looks like I had the wrong year, I looked at 1990 and it matches what I have which is just a plug.

I need to use the motor today, I'm guessing I can just use a 1/2" bolt to plug it?

I think your confused. 30 is a roll pin. The spot or Barb next to it is part of the carb, Your missing 31 and possibly 32 and a rubber hose?

Or yes you have a 90 and your good I guess.

Not sure how it gets it pulse though. Look for a barb fitting not being used off the block.

Racerone called it again.
