Mirror for Single Console

I have an Alumacraft Navigator with a single console. In Minnesota, we need to have a mirror if you are pulling a skier or tube without an observer in the boat to monitor what is going on behind your boat. I've looked online and in stores but haven't seen anything that would work well as a removable rear-view mirror. Does anyone have a recommendation for a mirror that they've used that works well with single console boats and can be removed when not in use?

That appears to be perfect. Does anybody who's owned one have a comment about them?

Re: Mirror for Single Console

I'm from MN. I hate boating in crowded waters and from a safety standpoint, would rather operate a boat solo on a quiet lake than with spotter where someone might just run over your downed skier. OK, off my soap box now :)

I installed one just like that on the 15' Glastron that I used to have. My boat had low-profile acrylic windshields and no place to mount something high enough to be useful. My "dual console" design had a vertical surface on the drivers side of the walk through that worked pretty well. To be honest it was mostly a "the letter of the law" solution. Not awesome rear-view skier coverage even with the convex lens. It also was easily removable when not skiing and didn't mess up how my cover fit.

I need it for those times that my wife and I are at the cabin without anyone else to be a spotter. Our bay is pretty quiet so the traffic issue doesn't concern me much. Thanks for the feedback.
