Minor Adjustment to Streering

All,

Is there a way I can adjust the power steering on my 1994 Merc? When the steering wheel is in the straight position the drive is angled slightly to starboard causing the boat to go to the right.

Do I adjust the power steering unit?

Do I adjust the rack up near the steering wheel?

I can't say for Merc, but on my OMC, I made the adjustment where the steering cable somes out of the cable housing where it connects to the drive steering arm. Merc may be similar?????
Was very simple there.

Guys,

Any other ideas? I had the gimbal bearing and bellows(s) changed out and noticed this. Do I need to remove the drive to set it correctly?

you most likely have the newer style steering that has no adjustment at the transom.
the work performed had nothing to do with it.The drive has nothing to do with steering . This link may be helpful, your manual is located in the adults only section.

I think you are right. I could not see any adjustments at the engine compartment. Are you saying that any adjustments need to be done at the rack at the steering wheel? Seems that there should be another way to make an adjustment.

Depending on the helm, you can try relocating the wheel hub. Other than that, it is what it is!
