Taxes are no doubt part of it, kinda sad Larson was a key employer in Little Falls. At least we still have Lund and Alumacraft.

Larson said in their presser that they would offer all the employees jobs in the other states where they have manufacturing facilities...........and don't think that Alumacraft wouldn't move if it would keep them in business or greatly improve the bottom line..... Lund is owned by Brunswick. They could move manufacturing at the drop of a hat.

The really sad part is the stupid "farmers" don't fix the "fence" until the horses are already out and have run away.....by then, it's a little too late to round them up.........

One of the main reasons to stay in Minnesota is the per capita of boat owners in Minnesota and we are provincial, keep it in the land of 10,000 lakes.

But that doesn't do manufacturers any good if they're losing money (or can make more money elsewhere) due to excessive taxes on the operation.

They can make them someplace else and ship them to the dealers in MN.

Another technique could be for the MN legislature to make the state more business-friendly or at least as business-friendly as other states.........The numbers are pretty simple. http://taxfoundation.org/article/2017-state-business-tax-climate-index
