Minn Kota riptide Rt55 stopped working.

I have a Minn Kota riptide RT55 and it just quit working while I was fishing. I took it apart to see if it was the contacts in the handle. They are fine but how do I determine if the motor is still good or the control board is the problem? I connected power straight to the wires feeding down the shaft and nothing happens.

possible breaker near battery. did you check that you have hot supply to the wire you are testing with.

Yes I have the right voltage coming to the engine. I have corresponded with Minn Kota tech. support and they gave me additional possibilities. Like the armature. If you all have additional ways to test components, please reply. thanks

As I recall, riptides have epoxy encapsulated electronics so troubleshooting is going to be limited. In any case, I'd get it to a authorized MK repair facility and get it fixed right.
