Well I had some fishingline wrapped around my prop and decided to go in after it. I removed the prop and removed the line then.....Like an Idiot....removed the 2 innocent looking bolts behind the prop to make sure the shaft seal was not compromised.
Little did I know that those 2 8mm bolts completely disassembled the motor, housing and motor
Well everything looks wonderful inside but now Im freaking about putting the motor back in the water. There are a total of 3 rubber gaskets geeping the innards dry.
What do these bolts need to be torqued to? I have everything back in place but man if 1 drop of water gets inside the housing Im screwed!!
I honestly cannot believe these things withstand the abuse we put them thrpugh with only 2 bolts holding the unit together!!
