I am ready to purchase this trolling motor. I just haven't decided on the shaft size yet (War Eagle 2072 boat).
Just wondering if anybody out there has one of these and what they think of it.
1) How do you like the i-pilot features?
2) Does the "spot-lock" feature really hold the boat in place?
3) Does the "record a track" feature really do what it says?
4) Will the "record a track" feature store the track in memory for later use (say, three weeks down the road)?
5) I am sure a 60-inch shaft is longer than I need, but may come in handy during very rough water trolling. Is there a disadvantage to having a trolling motor with a shaft length actually longer than required?
