Minn Kota 35 replaement switch

Hi My minn kota 35 trolling motor switch died on the water . My switch feels funny when I turn the handle on her . I had this problem with a minn kota 65 trolling motor switch going bad . I heard that some guy took the switch apart and cleaned the contacts in it . but I see that as a pain-in-the-A*s . I know that minn kota has a 5 speed and 2 reverse speeds . But the wiring for the new switch is diffrent , Missing the a spot for the blue wire . Well if I can find a person that has a old minnkota 35 or 65 switch . I would like to get one or I'll Buy a new one and go from there .

well guys I opened My minn-kota 35 and found the black wire kind of burned . The battrie ground llead had a white deposit on it from it being burned .Im thinking my switch shorted out . I was playing around with her and she did run at high speed .
