Here's a little puzzle for those who like them.....<br /><br />Rich man has 3 INTELLIGENT sons. Wants to leave all his money to the smartest.<br /><br />Takes each of them apart, and explains to them he's going to place either a red dot or a white dot on each of their foreheads, then he's going to put them in a dark room facing each other, then turn the light on. If any son see's 2 red dots, he is to instantly clap his hands. The first son to correctly DEDUCE the colour of his own spot is the one to whom the inheritance goes to. Other than the clapping, the sons are not to communicate with each other in any way.<br /><br />He takes the sons, and places a white dot on each of their foreheads, takes them to the dark room, then turns on the light. Each of the sons is facing the other 2. There is a moment of silence. No-one claps. After a few seconds the youngest son raises his arm, and explains he knows the colour of his own dot. <br /><br />He gets it right, and walks away with the loot (as all youngest sons do).<br /><br />What was his logic?<br /><br />Hint: Key point here is each of the sons are intelligent, and each son knows the other sons are intelligent. <br /><br /><br />Good luck......<br /><br />Chris.............
