I’ve got a really clean 1979 evinrude 150hp V6 that I just recently purchased. I am seeing a white milky substance on all the spark plugs some worse then others. You also see a small amount run out the carb barrels immediately after shut down. I have a fresh clean fuel source and here in Colorado basically very low humidity. Anyone that can help shed some light on this I would really appreciate it!

Perhaps new head gaskets, or retorque and test. (Water could be entering the cylinders from the water passages.)

How would it be working it’s way all the way back through the crack case and out the carbs? That is what has me puzzled and the fact it’s on all the plugs. Pretty unlikely to have a bad gasket or leak on every cylinder don’t you think? I feel like I’m getting water into the crank case side but how?

Good luck with it. Hope you solve it. Water contamination in your fuel?

bad cover/hood gasket or fit?

No sir. I’ve owned dozens of boats over the years. Never run into an issue such as this where I’m seeing water contaminated fuel on both sides.

My first thought was condensation from icy cold and humid air. Like about to snow. But you blew that theory by stating the humidity is low.
